Professional Experience
With over a decade of experience spanning public health, research, and program coordination, I have a proven track record of managing complex projects and driving impactful results across international organizations. My career has focused on enhancing health outcomes through data analysis, policy development, and strategic implementation of programs.
Highlights of my experience include:
- International Public Health: Served as a Program Coordinator with the Pan American Health Organization (PAHO/WHO), where I led a Mental Health and Psychosocial Initiative, developed policy, and created virtual training programs. I also acted as a Technical Advisor for the
Food and Agriculture Organization of the United Nations and the
Government of Belize, Ministry of Health
- Large-Scale Grant & Program Management: Coordinated a $3 million World Bank-funded project focused on child health and nutrition, overseeing all aspects from implementation and financial monitoring to stakeholder engagement. I have successfully written and managed several other grants, including a, $68,000 Rotary Global Fund water rehabilitation project.
- Research & Data Analysis: Currently serving as a Graduate Research Assistant at the University of Texas, El Paso. My background includes extensive experience in both qualitative and quantitative data analysis.
- . Centro San Vicente Health Clinic 7and various research roles at the University of Texas and New Mexico State University. My technical skills include Power BI, NVivo, and R-programming.
- Academic & Community Leadership: Held roles as an Assistant Editor for the Journal of Drug Education 10and provided technical training to hundreds of health professionals on behalf of PAHO/WHO. My work consistently bridges the gap between research, policy, and community-level intervention.
